Iris couldn't come again due to a concert in the evening, but Lee was with me again.
There were only 2 walks, both easy ones, yet the majority chose to go on the C walk, leaving just 15 walkers venturing forth to reach Scout Scar led by John Hanney.
The weather was not as bad as forecast, but non the less most donned complete waterproofs. I left my waterproof trousers off and didn't get wet and while walking we were warm although there was a cold wind (weak).
Opera and Walking Holiday
We took 3 days away in order to see the Welsh National Opera's productions at the Grand Theatre in Swansea.
Our primary objective was to see Eugin Onegin which I really love, but while there we might as well see the other two, and as it turned out, the best one was the one I least expected. Verdi's Falstaff. It was very cleverly produced which brought out all the humour and the musical melody.
The 'Bed and Breakfast' was excellent and I would recommend them or use them again.
The daytime we visited the Gower Peninsula. Last time we visited it was cold and miserable and our impression of the Gower was not good, however this time we had done our research and aslo the weather was great and we were not dissappointed.
The holiday was far too short and we will have to make it longer if we return again.
